Traveling to the trail head was an adventure in itself. Met some really great people who stopped to give us water! They were complete angels! Then we started on the trail. It took a little bit of time to adjust to the combination of the heat-pack weight with a full supply of food and water- and the excitement of finally stepping onto the trail.
