Young and thriving

\nThe little sunflowers sprouted

First an inch
\nthen doubled to two,

Their necks stretched like a giraffe
\nleaning towards the sun,
\nFollowing its daily path like a tennis match,
\nobserving this was so much fun.<\/p>\n

Trusting their instincts
\nthey kept reaching high,
\nTrusting that together

The four- focused and reached
\nstriving for more,
\nAll the while working
\non building their core.<\/p>\n

Their hard work paid off
\nTheir goals are reached,
\nGentle and patient
\ntheir stress was not breached.<\/p>\n

Today is the day
\nThey opened up and kissed the sun,
\nOne goal reached
\nbut their journey not done.<\/p>\n
